Wedding is a significant event not only for the bride and groom, but also for their families. Therefore, very often the text of the invitation to the wedding is made on behalf of the family or its most senior representative. This tradition is still preserved in the southern regions of Russia and the peoples of the East. Parents invite close relatives and guests of honuor, and the newlyweds – their friends and girlfriends.
